Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical engineering projects.
- Coordinate and oversee all phases of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to define project requirements and ensure alignment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and propose effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure that all project activities adhere to relevant codes, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site personnel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Power Engineering preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in electrical project engineering, preferably in the power or industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, design standards, and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is an advantage.
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or equivalent is a plus.
