As the key technical lead on site and in the office, you will coordinate closely with clients, consultants, main contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee HVAC project lifecycles from initiation through to handover, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Prepare, review, and submit project proposals, method statements, risk assessments, and technical drawings.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with safety regulations (WSH Act).
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors for procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and site discrepancies promptly to avoid project delays.
- Prepare project progress reports, variation orders, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Ensure all testing and commissioning (T&C) activities are carried out successfully and all documentation is completed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in HVAC project engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, air handling units, and building management systems (BMS).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and other project management software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a valid Singapore driving license (Class 3) – preferred.
- Candidate must be willing to work in the North Region of Singapore.
