As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end execution of M&E projects, bridging the gap between design and site delivery. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that project milestones are met with precision, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of M&E site activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Liaise effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and clients to resolve technical issues and manage site progress.
- Review M&E drawings and ensure all installations comply with regulatory standards and client specifications.
- Manage project documentation, including progress reports, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments (RA).
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and enforce stringent WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) practices.
- Supervise subcontractors to ensure productivity levels are maintained and material wastage is minimized.
- Attend site meetings to provide technical updates and coordinate structural or architectural integration.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in M&E project management within the construction or engineering sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems (e.g., ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing, or Fire Protection).
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project for scheduling and technical drafting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead onsite teams and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Possess a valid certification in Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS) is highly advantageous.
- Willingness to be deployed across different project locations as required by business operations.
