Our client, a top-tier Building Engineering firm, is seeking a motivated Project Engineer (Mechanical) to support project planning, site coordination, and technical delivery. You will work alongside senior engineers and project managers on exciting new builds and retrofit projects across Singapore. The role offers a competitive monthly salary of $3,500 – $4,500, plus AWS (13th month bonus) and Variable Bonus (VB) based on performance.
You will be based in Kaki Bukit, East Region, with easy access to public transport and modern office facilities. Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating mechanical engineering activities for building projects (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor site progress, conduct quality inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Support the preparation of project documentation, progress reports, and variation orders.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities.
- Contribute to value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Assist in commissioning and handover of mechanical systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- No prior work experience required—fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals (thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Singaporean / PR preferred; valid work authorization for Singapore.
