Responsibilities
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all mechanical and power support systems within the telecommunications infrastructure.
- Lead national-scale projects focused on improving the reliability, efficiency, and performance of HVAC, generators, UPS, and cooling systems.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and operational risks.
- Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical failures and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to source high-quality equipment and services, negotiating contracts and overseeing installations.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and performance metrics for senior management review.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on project management and system reliability, preferably in the telecommunications or data center industry.
- Proven expertise in power systems (Generators, UPS, ATS) and mechanical infrastructure (HVAC, Fire Suppression, BMS).
- Strong project management skills with experience handling national-scale initiatives and meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to root cause analysis and continuous improvement (Six Sigma / Kaizen is a plus).
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal, for effective communication across diverse teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Indonesia for site assessments and project supervision.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Certified Energy Manager, or equivalent mechanical engineering certifications) are highly preferred.
