Mindteck is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead and coordinate high-impact, cross-functional projects in Singapore. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for driving projects from initial conception through to successful delivery, ensuring all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
As a Project Manager within our engineering division, you will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical teams and business requirements. You will navigate complex project lifecycles, utilizing your expertise to foster collaboration across diverse departments and maintain high standards of quality. Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents to ensure clear execution paths.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and manage budget allocations.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team to maintain momentum.
- Track project milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools to ensure on-time delivery.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management within the engineering department.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, specifically within engineering or IT sectors.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to work in an Agile or Scrum environment with a solid understanding of SDLC.
- Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience in personnel management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Superior written and oral communication skills in English.
