Job Description

Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in civil engineering, specifically in road, drain, and external works? Join our dynamic team in Tuas and take full ownership of high-impact infrastructure projects. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams, manage end-to-end project delivery, and ensure that every milestone is met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

We are looking for a results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses comprehensive knowledge of civil construction methodologies. You will be responsible for full profit and loss (P&L) accountability, scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder management. From tender preparation to project close-out, your expertise will drive the successful execution of road, drainage, and external works projects that shape Singapore’s landscape.

This is an excellent opportunity for a degree-qualified professional with at least five years of progressive project management experience to step into a role with significant influence and career growth potential. If you are ready to take on new challenges and deliver excellence, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for civil engineering projects, including road, drain, and external works, from inception to completion.
  • Assume full P&L responsibility, including budget development, cost tracking, and financial reporting to ensure project profitability.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinate resources, and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues proactively, and implement effective change management processes.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports, including progress updates, cost forecasts, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety, environmental regulations, and company policies throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on project management experience in civil engineering, with a focus on road, drainage, and external works.
  • Proven track record of managing full P&L responsibility, budgets, and schedules for medium-to-large scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of local regulations, standards, and approval processes relevant to infrastructure works in Singapore.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office suite.
  • Registered as a Resident Engineer with IES/ACES or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license and willingness to work on-site in Tuas.
