Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for civil engineering projects, including road, drain, and external works, from inception to completion.
- Assume full P&L responsibility, including budget development, cost tracking, and financial reporting to ensure project profitability.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinate resources, and monitor progress against milestones.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues proactively, and implement effective change management processes.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, including progress updates, cost forecasts, and risk assessments.
- Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety, environmental regulations, and company policies throughout all project phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on project management experience in civil engineering, with a focus on road, drainage, and external works.
- Proven track record of managing full P&L responsibility, budgets, and schedules for medium-to-large scale projects.
- Strong understanding of local regulations, standards, and approval processes relevant to infrastructure works in Singapore.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office suite.
- Registered as a Resident Engineer with IES/ACES or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license and willingness to work on-site in Tuas.
