Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end management of interior design and fit-out projects from conception to handover.
- Develop detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met and deadlines are strictly followed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and stakeholders, providing regular progress reports.
- Manage and coordinate onsite subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and site safety compliance.
- Control project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising design integrity.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to architectural blueprints and safety regulations.
- Manage procurement processes for materials and furniture, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.
- Resolve technical or design-related issues effectively to prevent project delays.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in interior fit-out or construction project management.
- Strong understanding of interior design documentation, construction techniques, and material selection.
- Excellent command of project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar tools).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong leadership capability with a results-oriented mindset.
- Valid driving license and ability to travel to various project sites across Kuala Lumpur.
