Responsibilities
- Shadow senior management to learn daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Provide world-class customer service by greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Assist in maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen hygiene.
- Participate in staff training sessions and contribute to team performance goals.
- Handle POS systems, inventory tracking, and daily opening/closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health regulations.
- Support the team in resolving guest feedback promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM qualification or higher in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates with a strong desire to build a career in F&B are highly encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Malay (proficiency in Mandarin is a plus).
- A positive, 'can-do' attitude and a genuine passion for Japanese culture and food.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
