Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, and lead time requirements.
- Process purchase requisitions and issue official purchase orders to vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely arrival of goods.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize company procurement costs.
- Maintain comprehensive records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance data.
- Resolve discrepancies regarding invoices, shortages, or quality issues with suppliers immediately.
- Prepare regular procurement reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Procurement Staff, or similar role (minimum 1-2 years).
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and ERP software.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a manufacturing environment.
