Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to secure raw and packaging materials at optimal costs.
- Lead and mentor the purchasing team to ensure high performance and adherence to supply chain KPIs.
- Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, conducting regular audits and performance reviews to ensure quality and reliability.
- Optimize inventory levels for indirect goods and services to maintain uninterrupted business operations.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, volume negotiations, and process improvements.
- Monitor global market trends and price fluctuations, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and corporate governance standards in all procurement activities.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and finance departments to align procurement goals with manufacturing needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in procurement/purchasing within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, and vendor development.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of significant cost reduction.
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of supply chain risk management and inventory control methodologies.
- Fluency in Indonesian and English is required for effective stakeholder communication.
