As our Purchasing Staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of raw materials and operational supplies required to maintain our high production standards. You will work closely with internal departments and external vendors to optimize procurement costs, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities
- Execute the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and quotation comparison to purchase order (PO) issuance.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with existing suppliers and actively scout for new, cost-effective vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or overstock.
- Review and verify purchase requests for accuracy and budget compliance.
- Track incoming shipments, manage delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies or quality issues with suppliers.
- Prepare periodic procurement reports for management review, highlighting cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all purchasing activities strictly adhere to company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (D3) degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity, detail-oriented mindset, and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to be based in Kendal, Jawa Tengah.
