Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to procure materials at optimal costs and the highest quality standards.
- Prepare, process, and manage purchase orders (PO), requests for quotations (RFQs), and contracts efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and production teams to prevent material shortages or production delays.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, shipments, and returns in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, databases, and supplier profiles.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel for data tracking and reporting.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Good command of English (both written and verbal) is highly preferred.
