Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the QA team to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct regular process audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with ISO and company quality standards.
- Monitor production metrics and prepare detailed reports on quality trends, defects, and overall process performance.
- Develop and implement robust quality assurance protocols to minimize rework and operational downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and engineering, to resolve quality issues and implement permanent solutions.
- Ensure all documentation and records are maintained accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate training sessions on quality best practices for production staff to boost overall team competency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a QA/QC supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in process improvement, root cause analysis, and statistical quality control (SQC).
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and other relevant industry certifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data analysis software.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
