Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials and finished covers to ensure print alignment, color accuracy, and dimensional tolerances.
- Monitor production lines for defects; document non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.
- Perform inspections at key stages: casing, binding, finishing, and packaging to verify quality standards.
- Maintain accurate quality records and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Operate measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) and use visual inspection techniques to verify specifications.
- Collaborate with production, QA, and maintenance teams to investigate root causes and support continuous improvement.
- Maintain 5S and cleanliness on the work floor and participate in internal quality audits.
- Prepare daily quality reports and communicate issues to supervisors for timely resolution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or relevant technical education; additional QA/production certifications preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing QC, preferably in binding or packaging environments.
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to inspection and measurement.
- Familiar with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) and basic statistical quality control concepts.
- Ability to read production drawings and standard operating procedures; basic computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to a fast-paced production schedule.
