Responsibilities

  • Perform daily quality control checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished seafood products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor and enforce strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP protocols on the production floor.
  • Conduct regular hygiene and sanitation audits of the facility and equipment.
  • Manage documentation and maintenance of QC records, ensuring full traceability and regulatory compliance.
  • Investigate non-conformance issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with the production team to streamline workflows while maintaining strict quality parameters.
  • Support preparation for external quality audits and certification renewals.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in food manufacturing, preferably within the seafood or chilled food sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, or other food safety management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and record-keeping.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with excellent observational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Possess a proactive mindset towards problem-solving and continuous process improvement.
