You will lead a high-performing team of QC inspectors, overseeing the end-to-end quality lifecycle—from raw material inspection to final fabric finishing. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive quality assurance strategies for all knitting production processes.
- Manage and mentor the QC team, providing technical training on defect identification and prevention.
- Analyze quality data and production reports to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Production and Purchasing departments to ensure raw material quality standards.
- Maintain strict compliance with company quality manuals and international textile standards (e.g., AATCC, ISO).
- Lead internal quality audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen/Lean).
- Ensure all final knitted fabric meets or exceeds client specifications before shipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control within the knitting or garment manufacturing industry.
- Deep understanding of knitting techniques (circular/flat knitting), dyeing, and finishing processes.
- Proven leadership experience in managing a mid-to-large-sized quality team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis (RCA).
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems; experience with statistical quality control (SQC) is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure manufacturing environment in Bandung.
