Concepcion Industrial Corporation (CIC), the country's leading provider of end-to-end air conditioning and refrigeration solutions, is actively looking for a highly motivated R&D Engineer to join our expanding research and development team in Calabarzon & Mimaropa. In this critical role, you will spearhead the design, development, and rigorous testing of innovative HVAC systems and components.
Your expertise in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer will be leveraged to significantly improve product efficiency, overall performance, and long-term sustainability. You will be responsible for conducting detailed simulations, prototyping new designs, and performing validation tests to ensure products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Collaborating closely with our marketing, manufacturing, and quality assurance departments, you will drive the entire product lifecycle from concept to commercialization.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced HVAC systems, components, and controls to meet performance, cost, and timeline targets.
- Conduct engineering analysis and simulations (CFD, FEA) to optimize system efficiency and reliability.
- Lead the prototyping, testing, and validation of new products and components in accordance with industry standards (AHRI, ASHRAE).
- Troubleshoot design issues and implement effective corrective actions during the product development phase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure seamless product launches.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and design specifications.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and market trends to drive continuous innovation in sustainability and energy efficiency.
- Support the transition of new products from R&D to full-scale manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Licensed Mechanical Engineer is a strong advantage.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in R&D, product design, or a related engineering field, preferably within the HVAC or refrigeration industry.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and refrigeration cycles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python) and statistical methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong project management and communication skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
