Stratus Automation Sdn Bhd is looking for a motivated R&D Mechanical Engineer (Fresh Graduate) to join our dynamic team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new mechanical products while continuously improving existing ones. You will manage the full product lifecycle from concept through to production, ensuring high quality and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software.
- Conduct prototype testing, analyze results, and iterate designs to meet performance targets.
- Support product lifecycle management from initial concept to mass production.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and improve product reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and specifications in accordance with standards.
- Participate in rootâcause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, mechanics, and materials.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is advantageous.
- Excellent problemâsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Selfâmotivated, eager to learn, and adaptable to a fastâpaced environment.
- Fluency in English; Malay language is a plus.
