Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group reading instruction to children aged 4 and above
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on each child's reading level and learning objectives
- Assess students' reading abilities and track progress using appropriate evaluation methods
- Utilize engaging teaching materials and techniques to make reading enjoyable and effective
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence
- Collaborate with other tutors and center staff to ensure consistent educational approaches
- Stay updated on current reading instruction methodologies and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent educational background
- Experience in teaching or tutoring children, particularly in reading skills
- Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English languages
- Patient, nurturing, and excellent communication skills
- Own transportation and willingness to travel within Selangor area
- Residing in or near Selangor for convenient commuting
- Passion for education and helping children develop literacy skills
- Ability to create engaging and effective reading lessons for young learners
