Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily receiving operations, ensuring timely unloading and inspection of goods from suppliers.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor the receiving staff to ensure compliance with company safety and operational policies.
  • Verify the accuracy of delivery receipts, purchase orders, and invoices against physical shipments.
  • Coordinate with the merchandising team for the swift and accurate placement of goods in the selling area.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free receiving bay and storage area.
  • Manage inventory records and conduct periodic stock checks to minimize discrepancies and shrinkage.
  • Prepare daily reports regarding delivery status, damage logs, and inventory movement for store management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations within a retail environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a frontline team.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer applications (MS Excel/Word).
  • Keen eye for detail with a proven track record of maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of handling supplier and internal team interactions.
  • Willingness to work in shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
