Responsibilities
- Supervise daily receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming products
- Verify product quality, quantity, and specifications against purchase orders and delivery documents
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics personnel to streamline unloading and storage processes
- Maintain accurate inventory records through systematic documentation and system updates
- Train receiving staff on proper handling, safety protocols, and company procedures
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent loss, damage, or misplacement of goods
- Collaborate with sales and merchandising teams to optimize product placement and availability
- Resolve receiving discrepancies and escalate issues to management as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail receiving operations
- Proven supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and retail supply chain processes
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20kg
