Responsibilities

  • Execute product development trials and scale-up processes under the guidance of senior R&D staff.
  • Document all formulation changes, quality checks, and sensory evaluations with precision.
  • Coordinate raw material sourcing and supplier samples for new ingredient assessments.
  • Ensure all product development activities align with brand standards for taste, quality, and cost.
  • Prepare and present trial results, including nutritional and shelf-life data, to the R&D team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Support the creation of product specifications, nutritional labels, and quality control documentation.
  • Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to transfer new products from lab to factory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in food product development, preferably in a culinary or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and quality control procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in documentation.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for food innovation and a palate for identifying subtle flavor and texture differences.
