As a Research Assistant, you will manage various administrative and technical aspects of research projects, ensuring compliance with institutional guidelines and fostering collaborative efforts across departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a genuine interest in contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the fields associated with LCPC/SS.
Responsibilities
- Assist Principal Investigators in conducting literature reviews and synthesizing complex research findings.
- Execute data collection protocols, including field research, surveys, and experimental testing.
- Perform quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis using specialized software packages.
- Maintain accurate and detailed research documentation, ensuring integrity and confidentiality.
- Prepare research papers, technical reports, and presentations for departmental meetings and conferences.
- Coordinate administrative tasks such as ethics committee applications and project logistics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse research perspectives and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Social Sciences, Psychology, or related fields).
- Proven experience in academic research environments or research-focused project management.
- Proficiency in research software such as SPSS, R, Python, NVivo, or equivalent analytical tools.
- Strong command of written and spoken English, with technical writing competency.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining rigorous academic standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset suitable for a university setting.
- Familiarity with institutional research compliance and ethical protocols.
