This role is pivotal in advancing intelligent autonomous systems, with a specific focus on self-driving vehicles and mobile robotics. You will be instrumental in developing sophisticated algorithms for perception, decision-making, and control, integrating them into robust robotic platforms, and conducting rigorous testing in both simulated and real-world environments. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize advanced AI algorithms for autonomous navigation, perception, and decision-making in robotic systems.
- Design, integrate, and rigorously test complex robotic control systems, ensuring robust performance and safety for autonomous driving applications.
- Conduct extensive experimental validation and detailed data analysis on developed AI models and robotic platforms in simulated and real-world scenarios.
- Contribute significantly to the preparation of high-impact research papers for top-tier conferences and journals, and actively assist in drafting grant proposals.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team of researchers, engineers, and faculty members to achieve ambitious project objectives.
- Continuously monitor and integrate the latest advancements in AI, Robotics, Machine Learning, and autonomous systems research.
- Thoroughly document all research findings, methodologies, system designs, and experimental results.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Proven expertise in one or more of the following core areas: AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Robotics, Control Systems, or Automation.
- Strong programming proficiency in languages such as Python and C++, with hands-on experience in relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, ROS).
- Practical experience with robotic platforms, various sensors (e.g., LiDAR, cameras, RADAR), and comprehensive autonomous system development.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, analyze complex data, and solve challenging technical problems creatively.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, capable of working effectively in a team-oriented research environment.
- A strong publication record in relevant academic venues (conferences/journals) is highly desirable.
