Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex cell culture tasks including isolation, expansion, cryopreservation, and characterization of primary and immortalized cell lines
  • Execute in vitro assays to evaluate cell viability, proliferation, differentiation, and functionality using techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and qPCR
  • Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory notebooks, electronic records, and batch documentation in compliance with GxP standards
  • Prepare reagents, media, and buffers; calibrate and operate lab equipment (biosafety cabinets, incubators, centrifuges, microscopes)
  • Support process development and optimization for cell therapy manufacturing workflows
  • Analyze experimental data, generate reports, and present findings to the research team
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of lab supplies and ensuring a clean, safe working environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and deliverables

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related life science discipline
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, preferably with primary cells or stem cells
  • Proficiency in aseptic technique, cell counting, and culture maintenance under sterile conditions
  • Experience with flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, and microscopy is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot experimental procedures
  • Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of cell therapy regulations and GMP principles is a plus
