Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and prototype new laser-based processes for semiconductor applications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to validate new R&D methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes into existing production workflows.
- Perform data analysis and root cause investigations to resolve technical bottlenecks.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of R&D experiments, findings, and process specifications.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and yields.
- Liaise with equipment vendors and stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Laser Physics, or related Engineering field.
- At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in R&D or semiconductor process engineering.
- Solid understanding of laser optics, precision engineering, or semiconductor lithography processes.
- Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Zemax, or SolidWorks).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, collaborative R&D environment.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
