Responsibilities
- Design and model quantum electronic devices using industry-standard simulation software.
- Execute cleanroom fabrication processes including lithography, thin-film deposition, and etching for nanoelectronic structures.
- Perform high-precision characterization of quantum devices under cryogenic and room-temperature conditions.
- Analyze experimental data to refine device performance and validate theoretical quantum models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum components into experimental sensing platforms.
- Maintain and troubleshoot high-end laboratory instrumentation and vacuum systems.
- Document research findings and contribute to technical reports and peer-reviewed publications.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in nanofabrication and cleanroom environments.
- Solid understanding of quantum mechanics, semiconductor physics, and electronic device theory.
- Proficiency in data analysis and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++.
- Experience with cryogenic measurement setups (e.g., dilution refrigerators) is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex experimental tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to diverse audiences.
