Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI models and algorithms specifically tailored for process automation in remanufacturing environments.
- Conduct rigorous experimental research to optimize remanufacturing workflows and improve equipment reliability.
- Analyze large-scale datasets to derive actionable insights and inform strategic process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and data scientists, to translate research concepts into practical industrial applications.
- Prototype and test new technologies, ensuring they meet industry standards for performance and safety.
- Document technical findings, prepare research reports, and present results at academic or industry conferences.
- Mentor junior research staff and contribute to the technical knowledge base of the department.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and data analytics techniques.
- Experience with industrial automation systems, IoT, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced research setting.
- Strong communication skills and a proven track record of publishing research or delivering technical projects.
