Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and experimental validate AI‑driven robotic and autonomous systems.
- Lead research projects in machine learning, computer vision, control algorithms, and mechanical design.
- Author and co‑author peer‑reviewed journal articles and conference papers.
- Present findings at international workshops, seminars, and industry forums.
- Supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students involved in project work.
- Prepare grant proposals and contribute to securing external research funding.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate novel approaches into ongoing research.
- Participate in lab administration, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a closely related field.
- Strong publication record in top-tier venues (e.g., IEEE T-RO, RSS, ICRA, IROS, NeurIPS, CVPR).
- Hands‑on experience with robotic platforms (ROS, ROS2) and simulation tools (Gazebo, MuJoCo, V-REP).
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Solid background in control theory, optimal control, and system identification.
- Excellent programming skills in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Experience with grant writing and project management is a plus.
