Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced experiments in structural biology and virus-host interactions
- Conduct protein purification, crystallization, and structural characterization studies
- Develop and optimize molecular virology protocols for pathogen analysis
- Analyze complex biological data using bioinformatics and computational tools
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop novel research methodologies
- Prepare manuscripts for high-impact journal publications and conference presentations
- Secure external research funding through grant proposals and applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, or related field
- Strong expertise in structural biology techniques (X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM)
- Proven experience in virus-host interaction studies and molecular virology
- Record of peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals
- Proficiency in bioinformatics analysis and computational biology tools
- Excellent grant writing and external funding acquisition experience
- Strong communication skills for scientific presentations and publications
