Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative research on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems.
- Design, implement, and evaluate user studies and experiments to test the efficacy of AI-driven interfaces and generative tools.
- Prepare high-quality research papers for publication in leading academic conferences and journals.
- Analyze experimental data and derive actionable insights to advance the state-of-the-art in AI usability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including computer scientists, engineers, and domain experts.
- Mentor junior researchers, PhD students, and interns to foster a collaborative research environment.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in AI, HCI, and user experience design to inform research directions.
Qualifications
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent research experience).
- A strong publication record in top-tier HCI, AI, or NLP conferences and journals (e.g., CHI, CSCW, ACL, NeurIPS).
- Proven expertise in Generative AI, Machine Learning, or Natural Language Processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovative user-centric design.
