As a Restaurant Crew member, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an authentic Shabu-Shabu dining experience. Whether you are in the kitchen preparing fresh ingredients or on the floor providing top-tier service, you will be part of a professional team dedicated to quality. Responsibilities
- Perform daily opening and closing duties to ensure the restaurant is ready for operation.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, including seating, taking orders, and explaining the Shabu-Shabu dining concept.
- Assist in the kitchen with food preparation, including slicing meats, preparing vegetables, and maintaining soup bases according to brand standards.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in both the dining area and kitchen (HACCP standards).
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
- Manage stock inventory and ensure ingredients are stored correctly to maintain freshness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak dining hours.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidate must be motivated, passionate about food, and possess a positive work attitude.
- Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Mandarin/Cantonese is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in a non-halal environment (handling pork and alcohol).
- Flexible to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Prior experience in F&B is preferred, but fresh graduates or entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply as training is provided.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in Malaysia.
- Residing in or able to commute to Queensbay Mall, Bayan Lepas.
