As a member of our crew, you will gain hands-on experience in high-quality Japanese charcoal grilling service. We pride ourselves on delivering an authentic yakiniku experience, and we are looking for interns who are eager to learn the ropes of customer service, food safety standards, and restaurant operations. Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, efficient service to guests to ensure an authentic and memorable dining experience.
- Assist in setting up the dining area and maintaining restaurant cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Support kitchen and serving staff with food preparation and table management.
- Handle customer inquiries, order taking, and payment processing using the POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as required.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth daily operations during peak and off-peak hours.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Tourism, or a related field.
- Available for a minimum internship duration of 3 to 6 months.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts.
- Energetic, punctual, and highly reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic understanding of Japanese culture or cuisine is considered an added advantage.
