Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the team during shifts to ensure peak performance and exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory checks, and cash management.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness across the restaurant.
- Coach and develop team members on service standards, product knowledge, and Nando's brand values.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Monitor shift productivity and ensure efficient deployment of staff based on business needs.
- Collaborate with the management team to drive sales and achieve restaurant KPIs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within the hospitality or F&B industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- A genuine passion for food and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Energetic, positive attitude, and a commitment to personal and team growth.
- Basic understanding of P&L management and operational inventory control is an advantage.
