Valuemax Group is hiring a proactive Retail Area Support Executive (Operations) to join our dynamic retail team in Singapore. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will help oversee store operations across multiple outlets, ensuring daily tasks are completed with accuracy and in compliance with company standards. This role is ideal for organized, customer-service oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
Your primary focus is to support store operations, safeguard brand integrity, and facilitate seamless store performance. You will assist with merchandising execution, loss prevention, health and safety compliance, and the timely completion of operational tasks. You will work closely with store managers and frontline staff to implement promotions, manage stock levels, and ensure accurate reporting across locations. A strong communicator, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements that enhance the in-store experience for customers.
To succeed in this role, you should be detail-focused, adaptable, and able to travel between stores as needed. You will contribute to a positive, service-oriented culture by modeling professional conduct, upholding standards, and supporting training initiatives for new and existing team members. Responsibilities
- Support daily store operations across assigned outlets to ensure consistent execution of company standards.
- Assist with compliance, safety, audits, and policy adherence across stores.
- Coordinate merchandising plans, promotions, and seasonal setups with store teams and the Area Manager.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock availability, and reorder processes; assist with shrinkage control.
- Provide guidance on customer service standards and staff training; assist with onboarding new team members.
- Support scheduling, attendance tracking, and basic payroll-related tasks in collaboration with store managers.
- Prepare operational reports, KPI tracking, and escalate issues promptly to the Area Manager.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in business, retail management, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-3 years of retail operations, store support, or customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with store teams and customers.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with POS systems and basic data/reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel to multiple stores within the region as required.
- Problem-solving mindset with proactive approach to process improvements and customer experience.
