Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers warmly, building lasting rapport and loyalty.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend products from Läderach chocolate, TWG Tea, or Bacha Coffee with enthusiasm and expertise.
  • Consistently achieve individual and team sales targets while maintaining high service standards.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards – ensure displays are attractive, stocked, and clean.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and online payment transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Manage inventory, including receiving stock, rotating products, and performing periodic counts.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and brand stories to educate customers effectively.
  • Resolve customer inquiries or complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience (luxury or gourmet food industry preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a plus.
  • Passion for premium chocolates, teas, and coffee – willingness to learn product details.
  • Strong sales drive with a friendly, approachable personality.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts (airport operating hours).
  • Attention to detail in cash handling, inventory management, and visual presentation.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15kg occasionally.
  • Must be Malaysian citizen or hold valid work permit for Malaysia.
