Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms and surfaces.
- Ensure all bed linens and towels are fresh, crisp, and properly arranged according to hotel standards.
- Replenish guest amenities, including soaps, shampoos, stationery, and refreshment items.
- Report any maintenance issues or room damages promptly to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Manage the proper storage and maintenance of cleaning supplies and housekeeping equipment.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and privacy regarding guest belongings and personal information.
- Communicate effectively with front office staff regarding room status and readiness for check-in.
- Adhere strictly to all hotel health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services is an advantage, though entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality under pressure.
- Good physical stamina to handle the demands of cleaning multiple rooms daily.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
- Reliable, punctual, and disciplined with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in English is an added advantage.
