American Air Filter Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a motivated Sales & Application Engineer to drive local sales growth and deliver innovative filtration solutions in the Penang region.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, focusing on solution selling and technical application support for our industry‑leading air filtration products. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, conduct product demonstrations, and provide expert technical recommendations that maximize performance and energy efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the Penang market.
- Provide technical application support and custom solutions for HVAC and industrial filtration systems.
- Conduct product presentations, site assessments, and performance analysis for prospective and existing clients.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow‑ups and after‑sales service.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to launch new products and promotions.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management review.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- 2‑4 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or a similar commercial role.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems and air filtration technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM software is a plus.
