In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele, provide expert advice on a wide range of consumer electronics, and help customers find the perfect gadgets to suit their needs and lifestyle. You will also be responsible for processing transactions accurately, keeping the sales floor tidy and wellāstocked, and participating in visual merchandising initiatives that highlight new arrivals and promotions.
You will receive comprehensive onātheājob training on product features, sales techniques, and customer relationship management, enabling you to build confidence and expertise quickly. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, identifying their needs and recommending suitable gadgets and accessories.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits, providing accurate information to help customers make informed purchase decisions.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using the POS system, handling cash, card, and mobile payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging product displays.
- Assist with inventory control by receiving shipments, performing stock checks, and reporting discrepancies.
- Participate in promotional events and marketing activities to drive store traffic and sales.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification; additional certifications in sales or electronics are a plus.
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or electronics sales is preferred but not required for motivated candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Basic numeracy and accuracy for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Familiarity with current consumer electronics trends and a genuine interest in technology.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as per store schedule.
- Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications and POS software.
