AEON is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at KL Midtown in Kuala Lumpur. If you have a passion for retail, a friendly demeanor, and a drive to help customers find exactly what they need, this role is for you.
As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of AEON in store, delivering exceptional service, building product knowledge, and supporting daily store operations. You will engage with customers, answer questions, demonstrate product features, and assist with promotions and merchandising to create an inviting shopping environment.
Key responsibilities include providing attentive service, processing transactions accurately at the POS, handling cash and payments, restocking shelves, maintaining store cleanliness and visual presentation, and collaborating with teammates to meet sales targets. You will also participate in stock checks, price labeling, and the setup of promotional displays.

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and product guidance to shoppers
- Process sales transactions accurately at the point of sale and handle cash
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, promotions, and store policies
- Restock shelves, manage inventory, and ensure attractive merchandising
- Assist with stock checks, price labeling, and promotional displays
- Collaborate with team to meet sales targets and deliver a positive shopping experience
- Support store opening and closing procedures and maintain store cleanliness
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in Malay and English
- Friendly, proactive, and customer-focused with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours including weekends
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training is a plus
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Team player with good problem-solving abilities
