Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner, identifying their eyewear needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice on frame selection based on face shape, style, and prescription requirements.
- Explain different lens types, coatings, and optical technologies to customers clearly and professionally.
- Accurately process sales transactions using the POS system and manage cash/digital payments.
- Perform basic frame adjustments and minor repairs to ensure a perfect fit for customers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring all displays are attractive and well-stocked.
- Manage customer orders, track lens fitting progress, and contact customers for collection.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and stock replenishment activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent; higher education is an added advantage.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; ability to speak local dialects or Mandarin is a plus.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a genuine desire to help people.
- Willingness to learn technical details about optical products and vision care.
- Able to work on a shift rotation, including weekends and public holidays according to retail hours.
- Professional grooming and a polite, helpful demeanor at all times.
