Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, offering product knowledge and recommendations in the Foodline section.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked and products are rotated according to FIFO standards to guarantee freshness.
- Maintain impeccable store cleanliness and adhere to visual merchandising guidelines.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for cash and card transactions.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving deliveries and conducting stock counts.
- Uphold strict food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental sales targets and objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM / O-Level or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of working experience in a retail or supermarket environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency in cash handling and mathematics.
- Willingness to work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Must be a Malaysian citizen or hold a valid work permit.
