Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of interior design projects by identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new clients.
  • Conduct client consultations to understand space requirements, budget, timeline, and aesthetic preferences.
  • Present compelling design concepts, mood boards, and proposals to convert leads into projects.
  • Collaborate with designers, contractors, and suppliers to develop accurate scopes, cost estimates, and project timelines.
  • Lead client meetings, provide progress updates, and address design changes with clarity and professionalism.
  • Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts to secure projects while protecting client and company interests.
  • Maintain strong relationships for repeat business, referrals, and upsell opportunities, ensuring high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in interior design sales, design consultancy, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a client-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in design and visualization tools (eg SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit) or equivalent software.
  • Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to travel to client sites and work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong project management and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages may be beneficial.
