Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for a resultsâdriven Sales Manager to lead our commercial growth in the North Region of Singapore. In this role, you will be instrumental in promoting SELâs pioneering power system protection, control, and automation solutions, helping utilities, industrial facilities, and OEM partners make electric power safer, more reliable, and more economical.
You will collaborate closely with our engineering and product management teams to understand customer needs, craft tailored proposals, and ensure seamless execution from prospect to contract. By building trusted relationships and delivering highâimpact technical presentations, you will drive revenue growth and expand SELâs market presence across the region.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for the North Region.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, including utilities, industrial clients, and OEM partners.
- Partner with engineering and product management to translate customer requirements into solution offerings.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and identify new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring profitable terms and conditions.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Track sales performance metrics, forecast sales, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Represent SEL at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales or business development, preferably in power systems or automation.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of electrical power infrastructure, protection, and control concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales reporting software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in crossâfunctional teams.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
