As a Sales Representative, you will navigate the vibrant retail landscape of Melaka, engaging with local shops and large provision outlets. Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strong relationships with existing and potential local shop and provision store owners.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure product merchandising aligns with company standards and visibility targets.
- Execute sales activities, including processing orders and managing collections in accordance with company credit policies.
- Implement promotional strategies and product activations to boost brand awareness and stock movement.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing regular feedback to the management team.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales volume and distribution targets within your assigned territory.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in field sales, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) is highly preferred.
- Possess a valid driving license (D or B2) and own reliable transport.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting strict deadlines.
- Must be familiar with the Melaka region and local retail landscape.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and sales reporting tools.
