Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in green biomass chemistry and the development of advanced biomaterials.
- Design and synthesize novel functional materials from sustainable biomass sources.
- Characterize material properties using advanced analytical techniques such as NMR, FTIR, SEM, and mechanical testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into practical applications and prototypes.
- Publish research outcomes in high-impact scientific journals and present findings at national and international conferences.
- Supervise junior researchers and support the preparation of research proposals and grant applications.
- Manage laboratory resources, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in biomaterials synthesis, characterization, and processing.
- Strong understanding of green chemistry principles and sustainable material design.
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations.
- Experience with polymer chemistry, nanotechnology, or biomass conversion processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced research environment.
