Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in novel quantum functionalities and devices (NQFF).
- Design, fabricate, and characterize advanced quantum materials and prototype devices.
- Develop and optimize experimental setups for quantum measurement and control.
- Analyze complex experimental data and contribute to scientific publications in high-impact journals.
- Present research findings at international conferences and seminars.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to a collaborative research environment.
- Secure external funding through grant applications and forge collaborations with academic and industry partners.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and direction of quantum technology research programs.
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Quantum Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven research experience in quantum physics, condensed matter physics, quantum optics, or semiconductor device physics.
- Strong theoretical and/or experimental background in novel quantum phenomena and device concepts.
- Demonstrated track record of scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Proficiency in experimental techniques for quantum materials characterization and/or device fabrication.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
