Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the security team to ensure 24/7 coverage and operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage complex shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak periods and special events.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, identifying potential safety hazards or security breaches and implementing immediate corrective actions.
- Monitor and manage the hotel’s CCTV systems, access control points, and alarm monitoring stations.
- Lead and mentor security personnel, providing ongoing training in emergency response, conflict resolution, and guest relations.
- Liaise with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services to ensure coordinated responses to incidents.
- Prepare comprehensive incident reports, daily activity logs, and monthly security audits for senior management.
- Ensure full compliance with national and local safety regulations and internal hospitality security standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in a security supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Possession of a valid Security Officer license and relevant certifications in safety and security management.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing and motivating diverse teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local dialects for effective reporting and guest interaction.
- Proficiency in modern security technology, including advanced CCTV systems and digital incident management software.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure emergency situations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods as required by the role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Business Administration, or a related field is highly advantageous.
