Randstad, partnering with a leading education institution in Malaysia, is seeking a dynamic Senior Admissions Officer to join our admissions team in Johor Bahru. As a Senior Admissions Officer, you will oversee the end-to-end admissions process, from initial inquiry through enrollment. You will attract, inform, and guide applicants, ensuring timely and accurate handling of applications, supporting documentation, and communication across departments. You will collaborate with academic teams to align admission criteria with program offerings and assist applicants with visa and enrollment steps where applicable. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a customer-service mindset, and a strong track record of meeting targets in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include managing the admissions pipeline, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and chat, coordinating assessments or interviews, verifying documents, processing applications, maintaining accurate data in the CRM, generating reports, and contributing to recruitment campaigns. You will also mentor junior admissions staff, share best practices, and help develop process improvements to optimize conversion rates while maintaining compliance with institutional policies.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree, relevant experience in education admissions or student recruitment, proficiency with CRM and data-management tools, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in a bilingual or multicultural setting is a plus. Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end admissions process for prospective students, from inquiry to enrollment.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and chat, delivering timely and accurate information.
- Coordinate admissions assessments, interviews, and campus visits as required by programs.
- Verify and assess documents, credentials, and eligibility in compliance with policies.
- Maintain accurate applicant data in the CRM, generate reports, and monitor pipeline metrics.
- Collaborate with academic departments and student services to support enrollment goals and student success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
- Proven experience in education admissions, student recruitment, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; professional and customer-focused.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and data-management tools; attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of admissions policies and enrollment procedures; exposure to bilingual/multicultural environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Malay or other languages is a plus.
